PBIS

Grissom Elementary utilizes PBIS Rewards system to help incentivize students for displaying positive behaviors in the classroom as well as across the campus. Students and staff are sorted into four distinct houses that embody G.R.I.T. Those houses are Growth, Respect, Integrity, and Tenacity. Students will earn points throughout the school day by any staff member that wants to recognize them. Each week the house with the most amount of points awarded for positive behavior will allow those students to shop in the school store. Students will also be able to use points to purchase entry into events including school raffles.
